What the heck have I been eating?
today I lunched breakfast style with Kaiden at Johnny B.'s on hawthorne and 11th(?). I got biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and 2 eggs over medium, and a cuppa coffee. Standard diner fare. Kaiden got a pancake with a slice of bacon and an egg.he didn't eat the egg but he did a good job polishing off his pancake, though I had a couple bites. It was a pretty good pancake.
Earlier we swung by Tiny's on the way to his soccer class and he got a steamer and we shared a bagel toasted with butter. We played Addam's family pinball.Watchinga 3 year old play pinball is pretty fun,yo.
before that I had a double americano from armetis, corner of 12th and division, and banana vanilla yogurt.

Last night I wrapped up my night high rollin at the up the street bar,Tiga. i read some Calvino(good stuff) and sipped some Courvoissier, and realizing that food was necessary i got the bean dip with crostini(or just leetle toasts really), and a small green salad(cucumber, tomoto and lettuce).
before my Hithcock class I hit up happy hour with Rob at the place on campus whose name I forget. they actually have decent prices. I got a ceasar salad, garlic fries and an Anchor Steam all for about 8 dollars. Rob got fettucini alfedo for $3.25, and was amazed at the price.

for lunch I got 2 samosas from the Indian food cart downtown, and a mango lassi before grabbing an Americano at Stumptown.

breakfast was once again the cereal. and a cup of Earl Grey tea.

on Wednesday I can't recall what I wound up having for lunch. Oh wait, it was 2 slices of pizza from Hot Lips. One of cheese and one Tex-Mex, doused in Tapatio. Then June and I hit up the art museum,a nd afterwards i got a Limonata at Stumptown. I met up with Jennifer at the Bye and Bye for dinner and a drink.I got the BBQ Brussels bowl,as I heard that was good. Rice, bbq tofu, and brussel sprouts. It was ok, but not exactly spectacular. I had a Double Mountain IRA, which was tasty. I think it was the first time Jennifer and I have gone to bar together and only had one beer. Bizarre!

Tonight I'm gonna meet up with Kara, Melinda and Lynsey at porqueno? for some tacos. They will taste good, I'm sure, but we'll see about the service.Everytime I've been there its been a bit, ohhh, not the greatest. its raining hard right now and probably isn't gonna let up much, so it shouldn't be too packed there, one would hope.

My mind is full of thoughts that don't relate to food, and frankly i am not so interested in eating right now. However one must press on. As of this weekend I am gonna get in gear with cooking. I'm going fishing for the first time ever tomorrow, I think, so perhaps I will have a freshly caught fish to eat...
