Sooooo, I totally forgot what my username and password and all that jazz was so I haven't posted anything in forever and a day(or a year plus if you wanna get all technical about it) but lo and behold apparently I'm smarter than my memory gives me credit for and I had documented this information in my email draft section.

Today I have no real exciting food news. I'm broke, cos rent is due today so I stopped in at Sweetpea bakery (12th and Stark) on my way to work to get one vegan everything bagel with two different spreads, and a double Americano-12 oz-tourjours! Now, I have been going to this bakery for about amonth to get this bagel with "bacon scallion cream cheese". It's absolutely delicious! But there is no actual cream cheese or bacon involved. Every time I go I get this(except the one time I went to the Sunday Brunch-all you can eat buffet style including coffee and oj for $10-its a pretty sweet deal y'all)so today I asked what other spreads they had and the gal said today they had my fave, along with plain tofutti non cream cheese and...chipotle! So I got a combo of the bacon and the chipotle, on her recommendation. When I finally got around to eating it, about an hour and half later I noted that while it was good it certainly was not as good as just the fake bacon one. So, remember that if you go there. Maybe the chipotle would be better on its own or ona different type of bagel...
For lunch my boss took care of me and bought me some mac'n'cheese from New Seasons. I gotta say it is nowhere near as good as mac'n'cheese I've made. And at $4.49 per square it doesn't seem worth it. I pledge to make something decent for dinner tonight...after I get paid.

Over the weekend I ate pretty poorly cos I was camping and had bought a weird mix of things. I recall consuming:pasta withtomato and olive oil, tortilla chips, 2 pbj's, coffee, water, gatorade, a plum, a nectarine, 2 clif bars, beer, beer, beer, a breakfast burrito on Monday provided by some lovely fellow campers(J-Bone and Micah-thanks!), a half pocket of pita bread with a slice of ham and provolone and 2 sips of whiskey(also provided by J&M), a banana...thats not really enough food for me inbetween Saturday and Monday but oh well. I also brought stuff that I didn't wind up eating-like a bell pepper and some tomatoes. Not so much good with the prep there. Next time!

Once I was back in town I got a veggie burrito from up the street at Chilango's which was really subpar and a 22 of Lagunita's IPA Maximus from the up the street mini mart. The beer tasted good. Later I went with Kayla to La Bonita as she was hankering for a quesadilla and I got a veggie fajita. It was fine but nothing extremely great. Lots of people rave about La Bonita but they aren't my favorite.

Food, its great and all but sometimes its a letdown.
